Bride
We have a dress!!

I've had my dress since November, and I just picked it up from alterations (minimal). Now I just have to check to see what's available for pressing when we get to Hawaii...

I have to decide if I'm going to have an accessories...necklace?  Maybe a bracelet? Earrings?  Ack!

Shirt

I was so completely thrilled when a Tommy Bahamas boutique opened on Rue La La...I searched through and found this fabulous shirt for my FI, for 1/2 the normal price!  SOLD!!  And he looks AMAZING in it.  He has (ironically) Tommy Bahamas linen pants that he will be wearing as well.  I think it will be the perfect combination.

Matron of Honor

There is only one attendant...my BFF, Sarah, who will be my matron of honor.  She actually found the print dress below, and it's ranked pretty high as a possibility.  The other dress I think would also be lovely.  The colors I'm looking for are green with pink accent.

Print dress-FAIL!!!

Sarah found this one, and it just spoke to me from the get go.   We'll be heading out next week to try it on and see how it looks.  David's Bridal style # 81372.  It's been discontinued, so it's $99, but still orderable.  Fingers crossed!

Omg...it was not good.  It was completely unsuitable for her body shape.  Happily, though, we found another dress that looks fabulous on her, and the order is in!

THE MOH Dress

Picture
Like I said, an empire waist does NOT work for my MOH.  This dress, however, was perfect, and came in the green I was looking for.  We are swapping out the green sash that will come with it with a watermelon colored sash of the same width.  It is a very striking combination, and I think it will be perfect for the setting of my wedding.

Shoes

Both my MOH and I will be wearing these flip flops.  Hey!  It's Hawaii!  Payless Rodinia Shell Sandal ($14.99...woo-hoo!)  I took glass paint and painted the flower petals pink.  They turned out rather lovely, though I neglected to take a picture.
